I have previously posted the 3rd days photos, but the rest were all just put up this morning. and this…is what it looked like before the mud… The High Desert endurance ride this year was especially colorful. The fall colors were really nice this year – we rode through tons of yellow and orange cottonwoods. What a great ride! Here is a list of the XP Medal horses for 2009. It’s always good to get back home after a long ride. Yet, it’s also kind of sad that it’s over already. It seems like the multidays just fly by sometimes and this one was no exception. I always like riding at the Grand Canyon even in the years when the weather doesn’t cooperate. This year [...] Another great day. I ended up riding Bo one day – the fourth day, and Chief the other four days, days 1-2-3 and 5 for a total of 250 miles between them. The weather ended up cooperating very nicely for us. I always try to look at everything as positively as possible. For example, I knew that we had 22 mile left to go. We were on our way. I was getting excited. You see, Dave Rabe was supposed to ride White Cloud at the AERC NC 100 the week before. Turned out that White Cloud had other ideas and the day before that ride he got sweaty [...] The AERC National Championship ride for 2009 is being held in beautiful Greenville, California at a privately owned summer camp called Copper Creek.
