Ride Updates for XP Rides, 2010 Season

dscf3109 300x225 Ride Updates for XP Rides, 2010 Season

Rachel Shackelford and Dave Rabe at the EMS ride.

Some good news – The first XP Ride of the 2010 season is the Eastern Mojave Scenic Pioneer ride.  We just got approval from the AERC to add another day on to it.  We did this partially because we lost 5 days when Schellbourne was canceled….and also because the Young’s have been so accommodating.

This is great news!  The EMS ride will now be Thursday through Monday, February 12-15, 2010.  This is a holiday weekend that is why it runs through Monday.  Even if you can’t stay for the final day you can now come and ride the first two or three days.  Al Young has even been nice enough to pave the road into camp AND he’s cleared even more area for parking.  How cool is that!??

07 096 300x225 Ride Updates for XP Rides, 2010 SeasonIn other news – the Mt. Carmel XP ride which was previously 3 days and 155 miles has also been expanded.  It is now a 5 day 250 mile ride.

I’m really sorry to see Schellbourne go but it is kind of exciting to look forward to the new additions to these other two rides.  When going to multidays that are far away, it is definitely more worth the trip when you get to ride more days.

Be sure to check out some of the photos from these previous rides, and put them on your wish list for 2010!
