Made it home from the Grand Canyon – hard to believe that I was riding on the rim just yesterday, and now I’m 670 miles away back at home!
The horses both traveled well and the truck ran good – we had a nice trip traveling with Dave Rabe and the Fredrickson’s most of the way back. We stayed in Hurricane last night which was nice – 62 degrees (versus 24 where camp was). We beat the storm that’s coming too! Both horses look good and the cool weather here has made them frisky and playful.
I’ve got a lot of catching up to do. I’ll try to put together a couple of photo albums from the ride photos taken during the ride and will try to get results posted asap.

After I got home my husband asked me….so when is your next ride? My answer: Saturday. What? 
He just laughed!
It’s a local ride, I have to go!
Here is a ride entry for High Desert in case anybody needs it. See some of you there! Going to take Bo. Chief is going to get a break – he should anyway since he just did 200 miles but also because the vet is coming tomorrow to do another brow-lift on his eyebrow to keep the eyelashes from irritating his eye.
Soon we’ll be on the trail again…..somebody help me!
