I started my photo albums from the Grand Canyon ride with the middle day – because that’s the day Chief reached 9,000 lifetime miles 
. It seems like I was just starting him. My how time flies. He has really been a nice horse for me.
It’s definitely something to celebrate when you have a horse as reliable and consistent as Chief has been. Plus, he has a great disposition and attitude – we both love going down the trail together and have so much fun doing it.
I’ll try to get the other ride days together into an album. It may not happen before I leave in the morning for the High Desert ride. Chief gets the weekend off and Bo gets to go to this one.
I actually took quite a few more photos than I used in the album. If somebody wants a photo that I took email me and I can send it in hi-res.
The ride results are all done and in to the AERC – if you want to check and make sure everything is correct visit the xprides.com website. I try to also keep the tab at the top of my blog updated with the newest info on XP and Sunrise Ranch rides.
