If somebody has a correction or spots any errors, please let me know I was on…the horse. We were trotting down the trail! The sun was coming up and I had a big grin. Tigger did too, I could tell. We were on our way. I was getting excited. This was for real and I was able to breath a sigh of relief that I was on the [...] I went to the ride not knowing if I was really going to get to ride or not. It’s complicated. You see, Dave Rabe was supposed to ride White Cloud at the AERC NC 100 the week before. Turned out that White Cloud had other ideas and the day before that ride he got sweaty [...] This is from Amy, who crewed for me (and a few others) and did a GREAT JOB! I can’t believe she stayed up for me to finish that late. It was sure nice having help on the ride, and I really appreciated all of her help and so did Tigger! Thanks Amy!!! Now she has [...] Had to share this video of the cemetery in Virginia City. Turns out some at the finish line of the VC 100 this weekend saw a ghost…or ghosts. I just had one of the best rides of my life on Tigger on the Virginia City 100. This was the 42nd year for the ride. I think I’m ready for the VC ride this Saturday. Everything is ready – entry done, check; trailer and tack packed, check; rider, check; clothes, check; horse feed, check; crewbags packed, check; people food and drink, check; crew for ride, check. Horse, check. What am I forgetting? Actually, I’m not even bringing the horse so [...] Will be offline for a few days to be with family. To celebrate, here is Chief kicking up his heals after he passed his final vet check on day 5. He and I had a really great ride. I rode him on days 1, 2, 4 and 5. Bo got to do the middle day.
