The weather is really quite pleasant with just enough cloud cover to keep things cool and comfortable. I snapped a few photos that I thougth I’d share of things around camp today.
I want to go mark some trail up at the pass on Rocky but I”m waiting for instruction on where to go exactly. I should hopefully be able to get something done today and then more tomorrow. A lot of the stuff that can be marked with the jeep is being done now.
I tacked Rocky up earlier and worked him a bit. He looks good. I did some work on his feet and also some on Chief’s. They should be good to go. I also got a set of Renegade strap ons fit for Rocky. I mainly have been riding him barefoot, so today was a good try out for him with the boots. The wound he got last week is healing up pretty good though I am keeping it wrapped for now. I took the bandage off earlier for a while to see how it looked and left it off for awhile before rebandaging. It doesn’t seem to bother him.
Early morning visitors!
Looks like the weather for the ride is going to be great – around low 70′s with a bit of clouds. Should be perfect riding weather! There is plenty of room in camp and as you can see in the photos – water is already being put out so it’s here anytime others start to arrive.
