My love-hate relationship with HRM’s

I wanted to try and use a HRM (heart rate monitor) on Chief on this ride.  So I got a new battery in my watch and tried setting things up today.

It’s so frustrating.  I think I need a new battery in my transmitter.

So, I gave up.

Over the years I have used a HRM a lot.  Thousands and thousands of miles.

Why did I stop using one?  Once I realized that 100%

Sunshine and Rain

We had a beautiful day.   Now it’s sprinkling rain.  It’ll stop soon and clear up again though, as the clouds are sparse.  It’s been sprinkling infrequently but today and yesterday just enough to keep the dust down.  I love this kind of weather because it keeps things cooled off and also gives lots of great lighting for looking at the scenery, or taking photos.
