This works great and I’ve done this for years. The clips keep the saddle pad from sliding backwards, or even from slipping side to side. I started out in this sport with one goal in particular – to complete the Tevis. Which I did, once on Dream Weaver, and once on Rocky. Two completions out of three starts.
