Ride and Camp Photos from the Grand Canyon XP Endurance Ride

Imagine riding through this!

Imagine riding through this on your horse!

I know i got a little ambitious with the photos but here are quite a few in an album that include the first day of trail, second day camp plus some pre-ride stuff.  You can really tell how the terrain is so beautiful and varied, and how the riders are all having such a great time.

The colors are so bright and vivid, especially against a bright blue sky like the first day when I rode - we had so much variety of fall colors to go with the brilliant Grand Canyon rim colors that it was always changing and taking our breath away.

In this photo, Chief is leading up a canyon that is grown over with grass and is filled with various types of pines and aspens which are all in various stages of changing colors for fall/winter.
