There is a new security threat that Microsoft considers serious enough to do an update for in between the regular monthly updates.
Excerpt:
With little warning, Microsoft released yesterday an unscheduled or “out-of-cycle” patch for a highly critical vulnerability that affects all versions of Windows. Security bulletin MS08-067 (patch 958644) was posted to warn of a remote-code attack that could spread wildly across the Internet.

I wrote this article for Endurance News a few years ago. It may be a little dated but still has some useful information in it. It was copied out of a word document, so some of the formatting may display oddly depending upon what browser and OS you are using. There are a couple of live links in there as well, to more information. I’m pointing that out because the links are not the

Or maybe it is funny, this look of deer in the headlights look that I have after riding 50 miles last Sunday. Eeeeeeek—just WHO is that person staring back at me in the mirror???? I feel kind of like a snail that got ran over by the bus. So much for bouncing back – I don’t bounce, I just “splat”.
Christie (thanks Christie!) suggested that I try Curves and recommended them highly. So I

If you haven’t visited www.my-endurance.net, check it out sometime. Here is my page — you may need to join and log in to view. I’ll try to check in there more often. Thehorse.com has a great article about club feet. Click here to read it. There are also some great graphics depicting the various grades of club foot. You may have to log in to read it, but registration is free.
I think that Rocky’s feet (actually, one foot – the other has the low-syndrome they mention) are probably a grade 1, or somewhere between a grade 1 and a grade 2 according to that scale.

How cool is this – Chris Martin has a horse entered in the High Desert ride in Fort Churchill Nevada this weekend. Carolyn Meier is going to be riding him both days. They will have him hooked up to a tracking system, so be sure to check in and follow their progress! Click here.
This system is called “Spot, the world’s first satellite messenger”. Here is their home page.

This is from several years ago and I just got around to moving it over. I thought some might find it useful since so many are still using these products. One thing to add – many of these squirt in glue type products do not work well in cold weather (as riders found out at Grand Canyon this year) – be sure to keep them warm or find a way to warm them up
